Ranting Vs Belief

Sunday, November 26th, 2006

Dun get me wrong that Xtains are not allowed to Rant but I do admit that sometimes the things that I rant about may "stumble" another… someone who may not know me personally… Cos… Most of the time… I basically like to "Bit**" about things… esp about biking stuff…

Some of the people I know who reads my blogg also advised me that I should "give feedback"…
So I wonder… Should I rant?? or Maybe I should "feedback"??

IMHO, my own explaination between the 2 is that Ranting is basically…. Complaining… Where feedback is complaining with suggestions to improve the situation. Which is quite true.

Too many bikers in SG juz Bit** &…… eeerrrrmmmmmmmmm……..
Complaint & Complaint… But never really provided much unbiased & constructive suggestions to resolve the matter.
So, hope this blog will one day "be" a "turning point" to make SG a better place for bikers??

Well… I can juz hope for the best…

Before I forget myself… Here’s some topics that I wanna cover soon…
- Heavy Vehicle’s Speed Limit.
- Dangerous / Reckless Drivers.
- Traffic Jams… Coz too many cars??
- Motorcycle Parking Lots… (Need I say more??)

Am back again

Has been a really crazy month…

New baby & all…
www.jedojeja.blogspot.com
The family blog…

Anyway, this blog is about bikes… and sometimes, I need to constantly remind myself… a born again Christian Biker @ that… but sometimes with all the things that’s going on… it’s really hard not to rant…

e.g. Today… My sister in law let us have the car & so… I had to park my bike @ her place over the weekend plus today…

Well 2 things happened…

1. The Parking lot that I parked in, used to have about close to 50-70 bike lots? Anyway, a couple of months, maybe 2 months ago, they converted more than half of them (The bigger half…. will explain more again) to red lots. Leaving about 20-30 lots to public.

Funny thing is that I noticed that there are actually more people parking on the white lots than the red lots. Dun ask me why. Anyway, a couple of post ago, I mentioned about a yellow Haya who kept "saboing" my bike… was mainly due to the lack of bike lots…

And today…. All the bike lots have been converted into red lots!!!!!!

DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where am I supposed to park??

Well here’s part 2.
Part 2… My bike has been parked there since Sat… It was white when I parked there… Now…. It’s Red!!!!!!!!!

!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly, one thing that most if not all bikers dun like / (Due to the lack of choice of words) hate, people / strangers to "touch" their bikes… Needless to mention "PUSH" their bikes…

What happened was that the contractors moved my bike (Which was handle bar locked) to be painted…
*My bike was parked near a slope where cars need to pass to come down fro level 2.

I mean in car terms… would you / any car driver like their cars to be towed away to another parking spot? Parked God knows where so they can do their things??

My God, Singapore Bikers get (lack of any words to describe) any respect @ ALL!!!

Even if there are lots… they are so small that the bikes literally are centimeters (<10cm) cam from each other.

I mean, think about this… Even though bikers does not have a door to get off… they still need the space to "get off".
10cm is not exactly lots of space either.

Sometimes I feel like a acrobat from a circus / Mr bean getting off my bike.

It’s really sad to see how bikers in SG are treated.

The other thing that happened was this bus… dark yellow colored bus, Plate number PA 3933 or 3393 or something like that @ BKE… I was on his left and the bus driver literally "swerved" into my lane. Thinking that he may not have seen me and that the bus was air conditioned, I honked… He did swerve back…. But guess what?? After that the damn driver tried that stunt again, this time he looked like he did it intentionally. He was as if he was trying to RAM me.

These drivers are really sickos… Hiding behind the steering wheel, in the safety of their cars…

I really wanted to give him a piece of my mind that day… Juz wanted to tell him that he one time or the other need to come out of that vehicle. The anger was really burning… putting my life @ risk & all…

But then… what made me not do that was that I try to remind myself that now I am a Christian… All I needed to do was to drive on & be more careful.

*Not all bikers are Christains… And not many are forgiving… Coz a car drivers small mistake may put their life @ risk. Even the smallest dog will fight back if their life is @ risk.

:)

God Bless.
