Accident!!! The aftermath
It’s been quite some time since I had time to update this page but somehow have to find the time to do it coz…. I actually recieved a Lawyer’s letter from the car that I hit!
What’s wrong some may ask… well, one thing that I know is that he was driving the car, I was on the bike, I agreed to admit to being at fault and have asked him to proceed with the insurance claims.
The really shocking part was the cost of repairs!!!
His total repair was close to 1.9k!!! with other misc which came to 3.2k!!!
Mine? my damaged came to only about 150-200 to replace the cracked side mirror cover.

His main damage was on the light assembly, the funny thing was the "transparent plastic" part brokebut the bulb was still working. I simply do not understand how a broken light assembly could cost so much, cos that was what was broken and a slight scratch on the back boot lid.
All I can say is that I have what is right and report this to IDAC as required, but I will report this to NTUC to refute this claim as this would definately affect my next insurance with a super high loading.
It’s common in SG for some unethical shops to "overclaim" to make alittle more from the insurance companies but it’s people like these that are pushing the insurance premiums higher and higher.
All I can do now is to give a call to my insurance company and then commit this to God.
